University in numbers
Nearly 22,000 students study at the University of Wrocław, including around 15,500 in full-time studies. More than 1 300 of them are foreigners.
Almost 900 doctoral candidates attends doctoral studies and the Doctoral School at our university. The University of Wrocław provides doctoral training programmes in more than 20 scientific disciplines.
Close to 150 fields of study are available to candidates wishing to study at the University of Wrocław, as many as 30 of which are taught in English.
Nearly 4,000 people work at the university, including almost 2,000 as academic teachers and the rest as administrative staff.
Among the academic staff we have more than 500 full professors and university professors.
The University of Wrocław cooperates with around 800 foreign universities from nearly 40 countries around the world. We have signed around 1,100 partnership agreements with foreign higher education institutions.
