Free Belarusian University Courses

Free Belarusian University in collaboration with the University of Wrocław invites for the two free online courses.

Two specialist courses are led by the notable professors who are experts in history, international relations and social processes.

The courses combine solid scientific knowledge with the current sociological and political context. As a result, students may get a better understanding of Belarus’ image in the current European and global climate.

Course 1: “Geopolitical choice of Belarusian. Polish experience” – starts on 8th October 2025 (15h of classes). Registration starts on: 4.10.2025 REGISTRATION FORM.

Course 2: “Coexistence and conflict between authoritarian power and Belarusian civil society”. – starts on 20th October 2025 (15h of classes). Registration starts on: 16.10.2025 REGISTRATION FORM.

Courses are dedicated mostly to the Belarusian students – both emigrants and those who stayed in the country. The main goal of the project is to create an online university that will offer European standard education. Education that is based on academic freedom, independent critical thinking and critical analysis of contemporary political, social and historical processes.

The classes incorporate up-to-date research and analysis. Moreover, they deal with current topics such as: geopolitics, authoritarianism, propaganda and society. Consequently, giving opportunities to dispute and exchange experiences among similar people. Graduates will receive a certificate signed by the University of Wrocław and WUB.

The first course presents how Polish historical experiences can become an inspiration for freedom and independence. On the other hand, he second course gives understanding on the mechanism of the authoritarianism and civil disobedience in Belarus in the last three decades. That said, the course explains the importance of mechanism of authoritarianism and civil disobedience in the context of present.

Both courses contribute not only to gaining knowledge but also to developing a better understanding of current political processes and critical thinking towards misinformation and propaganda.

The course is an extraordinary opportunity to take part in the international educational project, combining knowledge, historical experience and practical reflections on future.
