ACTRIS-PL remains on the Polish Research Infrastructure Map
By decision of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the strategic importance of ACTRIS for science and public policy has been confirmed: from the high quality of the research conducted, through open access to data, to support for innovation in the fields of air quality and climate change adaptation. As a result, ACTRIS maintains its position on the Polish Research Infrastructure Map as a nationwide infrastructure for aerosol, cloud and trace gas research.
ACTRIS-PL is a nationwide network for the study of aerosols, clouds and trace gases, essential for science and public policy in the areas of air quality and climate change adaptation. It consists of eight units, including the University of Wrocław, which, within its Department of Climatology and Atmospheric Protection, has modern equipment that forms part of the network.
The maintenance of the national ACTRIS research infrastructure (RI) is financed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education under the programme Support for the participation of Polish scientific teams in international research infrastructure projects.
