A gala concert for Senior Rector, prof. Adam Jezierski
On behalf of the Rector of the University of Wrocław, prof. dr hab. Robert Olkiewicz, we are honoured to invite you to a special concert dedicated to the Senior Rector of the University of Wrocław, prof. Adam Jezierski.
The event will be hosted by dr Julianna Redlich of the Institute of German Studies.
The concert will be opened by the laudatory address will be delivered by the Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry, dr hab. Marcin Sobczyk, prof. UWr.
The artistic programme will feature, among others:
– Lea Wiegand – Ave Maria (performed in Spanish)
– Mikołaj Klyta – Trzeci romans demona by A. Rubinstein
– Martyna Dubińska, Stas Marinczenko, Maria Molenda, Andrzej Walus – the Slovak hit Štefan
– Małgorzata Pelak – Ten taniec
– Julianna Redlich – Farlandia
– Igor Jelinek – Walc Boston
– Four Spajs Girls – an energetic surprise performance
– Kamila Ogrodnik – Bądź moim natchnieniem
– Luba Moc – Я піду в далекі гори
– Zofia Popławska – Słucham Cię w radiu co tydzień
In the second part of the concert, performances will be given by prof. Jan Miodek, Andrzej Walus, and the Senior Rector, prof. Adam Jezierski. Between the musical items, the audience will hear anecdotes from prof. Jezierski’s life and professional career, shared by dr hab. Marcin Sobczyk, prof. UWr, dr hab. Jacek Przygodzki, prof. UWr, and prof. Jan Miodek.
