
„New technologies in court proceedings” – conference
Student Research Group IT Law Block LegalNet, Student Research Group of Financial Law „FISCUS”, Student Research Group of Administrative Proceedings, and Student Research Group of Criminal Proceedings, all functioning at the University of Wrocław, invite everyone to take part in the student-doctoral national conference “New technologies in court proceedings”.
The conference will take place on 29 May 2026 at 9 a.m. in Witold Świda’s room 2D at the University of Wrocław’s Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics. The conference’s subject matter includes the analysis of the influence of new technologies on legal regulations, with particular emphasis on administrative and tax proceedings, criminal proceedings, and civil proceedings.
There are three thematic panels planned as part of the conference: administrative and tax panel, criminal procedure panel, and civil procedure panel.
The conference is addressed to students and doctoral students interested in a deeper reflection on the legal aspects of the development of new technologies. Participants will be able to present the results of their research and discuss the current legal issues resulting from technological advancements.
Expert practitioners of the new technologies law will participate in an expert panel planned as part of the conference.
Participation in the conference is free and certified. Registration for active participation is possible until 17 April 2026 via application form. Registration for passive participation will be possible until the day before the conference.
The conference is being held under the honorary patronage of the Rector of the University of Wrocław and the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Administration, and Economics.
The sponsors of the conference are the Lower Silesian branch of the National Chambers of Tax Advisers, Wrocław District Chamber of Legal Advisers, and District Bar Association in Wrocław.
The media patrons are Wolter Kluwer Polska publishing house, journals IT w Administracji, Radca Prawny w Administracji, as well as the magazine Studenckie Prace, Prawnicze, Administratywistyczne i Ekonomiczne.
