30th edition of Meetings in “Nehring,” lecture by prof. Wojciech Soliński – Everything is a translation!
Professor Wojciech Soliński is a translator, as well as a literary and translation scholar. He is also an Italophile and a Bohemophile, observing – especially – of the ups and downs in Polish reception of the works of Umberto Eco and Bohumil Hrabal. He prefers reading to writing, and is a detached observer of evil, which presently occupies the world of sport.
The Institute of Polish Studies at the University of Wrocław, together with the Society of Friends of Wrocław Polish Studies, invites you to the lecture.
The meeting will take place on 19 April 2026 (Sunday), between 11.00 and 12.00 am, in the Institute of Polish Studies, Plac Nankiera 15b, room 125 (2nd floor).
