Hydrangea’s Day on campus at the Faculty of Social Sciences.
On the 21st of April a Hydrangea Day was held on the campus at the Faculty of Social Sciences. The event was followed by a celebration of the Hydrangea and the opening of a newly renovated parking lot at the Faculty at ul. Koszarowa. Initiators of the event were the Dean’s Authorities of the Faculty of Social Science and the Student Council.
The participants were among others, the Rectors of the University of Wrocław, representatives of the academic community and friends of the Faculty. The meeting was not only ceremonial but also integrative in the nature of the highlighted importance of the ending of a significant stage of campus modernisation.
The newly renovated parking lot has around 250 spaces, 10 of them designated for people with disabilities. The investment also included pavement construction, bicycle racks and benches, which significantly improve the functionality and comfort of using the campus space.
The renovation of ul. Koszarowa also came to an end, making access to the campus of the Faculty of Social Sciences easier and more friendly for drivers, pedestrians, as well as cyclists.
From now on, April 21st will be associated not only with Spring at the Faculty of Social Sciences, but also with the closure of an important phase of infrastructural changes that improved the everyday functioning of the academic community.
