International Conference: “Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education Teaching- Innovation, Practice, and Future Directions”

The University of Wrocław invites academic staff to participate in an international conference in higher education. The event will provide a space for exchanging experiences and reflecting on the use of AI in teaching, from computational modeling to ethical issues in academic writing.

Format: on-site event

Participation in the conference is free of charge. The organisers will provide coffee breaks, two lunches, and a conference dinner.

Funding

The conference is organised with the support of the European Union within the framework of the National Agency for Academic Exchange project “Support for European Universities Alliances” (FERS.01.05-IP.08-0219/23).                                                                      

Conference Program

The program includes plenary sessions, parallel thematic tracks, and interactive workshops combining theoretical knowledge with practical application.

Workshops and Thematic Sessions

Participants will have the opportunity to work with experts from the University of Wrocław, Vilnius University, and Wrocław University of Science and Technology in areas including:

  • computational modelling using simple prompts,
  • critical approaches to AI and “cognitive debt” academia,
  • practical workflows- from Markdown to interactive educational applications,
  • foreign language teaching using generative AI tools and integration with Trados

Important: The workshops are practice-oriented. Participants are asked to bring their own devices. During registration, participants will be required to select workshop groups (places are limited).
