Marking service for UWr buildings

The project will include the provision of a marking service for UWr buildings adapted to the needs of people with disabilities in Braille, together with QR codes and an application. The realisation of this task will facilitate movement, orientation and adaptation of space, especially for the blind and visually impaired.

There will be plates made containing the Braille relief system and QR codes with encoded data such as the number/room name and purpose of the building/room. The information will be stored in the QR code in Polish and English language versions. The plates will be installed outside and inside the buildings of the University of Wrocław. An application will also be developed to enable University staff to manage changes to the descriptions contained in the QR codes.

Renovation of toilets to meet the needs of people with disabilities

We have already managed to renovate the toilet for people with disabilities on the ground floor of the building at ul. Kuźnicza 49/55, next to the office of the Service Team for Students and Doctoral Students with Disabilities. It was necessary to adapt the toilet to the needs of people with disabilities, carry out appropriate renovation work and complete the equipment so that it meets all accessibility requirements.
