A new field of study – Intercultural assistance – Ukrainian-speaking children

New postgraduate studies “Intercultural assistance – Ukrainian-speaking children” invites graduates of bachelor’s or master’s degrees of all profiles. They are designed primarily for teachers, pedagogues, psychologists and others who are already employed or wish to become employed in the Polish educational system. The knowledge and skills acquired will allow graduates to take up employment (or additional work) as a teacher’s aide with a clear focus on Ukrainian children who arrived on the territory of the Republic of Poland after 24 February 2022.

The study programme, developed on the basis of empiricism and social needs, offers not only classes in Ukrainian language, realia studies, Ukrainian history, Ukrainian literature for children, etc., but, above all, a wide range of targeted pedagogical subjects, including workshops with people working with Ukrainian children and intercultural assistants, which guarantees comprehensive preparation and acquisition of broad competences, and in the perspective (as confirmed by contacts with various institutions) employment.
