About the UWr Museum on Radio Wrocław Culture
In the academic year 2023/24, the Museum of the University of Wrocław hosted projects by students of cultural studies created as part of the Interwencje Muzealne course in the cultural art criticism specialisation taught by dr hab. Renata Tańczuk, prof. UWr.
These interventions consisted of introducing new themes into the exhibition narrative and improving communication with the visitor. These took the form of interviews and plaques inserted into the exhibition and, in three cases, a completely new arrangement of display cases and annotated with contemporary commentary.
Dr Urszula Bończuk-Dawidziuk, together with students Alina Buchko and Michał Stefański, told editor Maciej Przestalski on Radio Wrocław Culture about the course and its results.
