Council UWr

The university council is a body consisting of scholars of the university, individuals from outside the academic community representing the social and economic environment and a student representative. It includes 8 people appointed by the senate, at least 50% of whom are from outside the university community. The ninth member of the council is the chair of the student council.

The term of office of the council of a higher education institution shall be 4 years and shall commence on 1 January of the year following the year in which the term of office of the senate began. The same person may be a member of the council of a higher education institution for no more than 2 consecutive terms of office.
