
Science and International Cooperation Committee
The scope of action of the senate’s Science and International Cooperation Committee encompasses formulating opinions in the following matters:
- development strategy of scientific activity (research and developmental work) at the University of Wrocław, with particular emphasis on remaining in the group of universities developing projects for “The Excellence Initiative – Research University” (IDUB) competition;
- proper functioning of the Scientific Discipline Councils;
- financing scientific activity;
- Strategies of employment for research and research and teaching positions;
- fulfilling objectives for „The Excellence Initiative – Research University” (IDUB) project;
- scientific care for the young research staff;
- academic scholarships and internal research programmes;
- scientific cooperation of the University of Wrocław with national and foreign institutions, organisations and charities working in the scientific fields;
- initiation and fulfillment of scientific activity supporting the development of local economic and social environment
- wage policy of the University regarding research and research-teaching workers and applications for research and implementation grants;
- matters connected with innovation and commercialization of scientific activity results;
- matters connected with protection of intellectual property;
- other matters connected with scientific activity and international cooperation not specified above.
