FACULTY OF LAW, ADMINISTRATION AND ECONOMICS
For years the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics has been listed among the best in Poland. The students attend classes in modern facilities. The unique Centre for Document Examination, where polygraph expert opinions are issued, also operates here.
It consists of 4 institutes:
Institute of State and Law History
Institute of Administrative Sciences
Institute of Economics
Institute of Civil Law
10 chairs, 1 department, 3 centres, and 3 laboratories.
The students of law, administration and economics can enroll in residential and non-residential (evening or extramural) programmes. They can also continue their education and access doctoral studies. The faculty runs postgraduate studies and supplementary courses as well.
There are schools of German, French, American, Austrian and Ukrainian law, and also the University Legal Information Clinic. The English and European Law Course, organised in co-operation with the University of Cambridge, is ran here.
In the 4th edition of the Faculties of Law Ranking organised in 2015 by Rzeczpospolita newspaper our faculty was placed third, and in the 9th edition of the Faculties of Law Ranking of the same year organised by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna it came fourth.
