University in numbers
Over 20,000 students study at the University of Wrocław, including around 14,500 in full-time studies. More than 1 500 of them are foreigners.
620 doctoral candidates attends the Doctoral School at our university. The University of Wrocław provides doctoral training programmes in 28 scientific disciplines.
Close to 170 fields of study are available to candidates wishing to study at the University of Wrocław, ca. 30 of which are taught in English.
Nearly 3,800 people work at the university, including over 2,000 as academic teachers and the rest as administrative staff.
Among the academic staff we have more than 600 full professors and university professors.
The University of Wrocław cooperates with around 800 foreign universities from nearly 40 countries around the world. We have signed around 1,100 partnership agreements with foreign higher education institutions.
