Academic mobility at Arqus

On 14–16 October, the University of Wrocław had the honour of hosting representatives of nine partner universities belonging to the Arqus Alliance.

As part of this international cooperation, we were visited by representatives of the University of Granada, the University of Padua, the University of Leipzig, the University of Lyon, the University of Graz, the University of Maynooth, the University of Minho, the University of Vilnius and the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

The meeting was of a working nature and focused on activities carried out under Package 9, which within the Arqus structure is primarily responsible for the development and coordination of initiatives related to academic mobility. Participants discussed current projects, exchanged experiences and planned further joint activities.

One of the key topics was the Open Mobility Agreement – an agreement operating within the Alliance, which aims to simplify and increase the accessibility of mobility for students and staff of partner universities. The rules and possibilities of financing Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP), Twinning initiatives, as well as other forms of international cooperation that support the development of competences, the integration of academic communities and the building of lasting relationships between universities were also discussed.
