Apply for the Polityka Science Award!
From 29 March until 14 June 2023, the POLITYKA Weekly Foundation is accepting applications from young researchers for the 23rd edition of the Polityka Science Awards. The list of 15 finalists will be published in ‘Polityka’ on 13 September and the winners will be announced in October 2023.
Since 2001, the Polityka Weekly Foundation has been running a scholarship programme aimed at young researchers ‘Zostańcie z nami!’ [Stay with us!] – since 2011 under the name Science Awards. The programme promotes valuable career patterns and scientific achievements of young researchers in Poland through the action carried out on the pages of “Polityka”.
The programme is looking for people who have passed an important milestone in their professional life in the last one or two years. This can be a doctoral thesis, a postdoctoral thesis, a book, an important scientific article, the completion of the research or starting it, building a team, assuming an important function in a scientific institution. The competition is for young researchers, who are around 35 years old or younger. To apply for the scholarship, you need to fill in an application form available at polityka.pl/stypendia and return it electronically by Wednesday, 14 June 2023 to: stypendia@polityka.pl.
