Arqus – a specialist series of lectures and workshops for teachers of English

Specialists in English language teaching from various universities affiliated with the Arqus alliance invite all academic teachers from partner universities who teach or plan to teach in English to a specialised series of lectures and workshops on EMI (English as a Medium of Instruction). The aim of the series is to improve the linguistic and teaching skills of lecturers who use English as a tool for imparting knowledge in various fields and areas in their academic work.

Two workshops will be held before the holidays:

– Friday, 8 December, 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: “Focus on Grammar in Advanced Language Courses”

– Monday, 11 December, 2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. “Interactive Skills Practice in the EMI Classroom”.

The series of EMI workshops will continue in the new year, so it’s worth keeping an eye out for updates. This is a great opportunity to improve your skills and learn new and interesting teaching techniques.
