“The desire to learn how life works led me to choose to study at the University of Wrocław. I graduated in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree and in 2020 with a master’s degree in genetics and experimental biology. During my studies, I served as a student representative, which developed my communication and people management skills. I am currently a PhD student in the Department of Animal Development Biology, my dissertation focuses on oogenesis in Heteroptera (a group of insects). In addition to my studies, I have been working at the DOBROSTAN medical clinic for two years as a clinical research coordinator. My work includes working with pharmaceutical companies such as AstraZeneca and Chiesi, laboratories such as LabCorp and Q2 Solutions, and coordinating patient visits during clinical trials. In addition, I do some research myself at the center. My work allows me to use the skills I acquired during my studies and constantly expand my competence. One of the most rewarding aspects of this role is the opportunity to help others while expanding my own knowledge.”
