Australian ambassador on a courtesy visit to our University
Australian Ambassador Benjamin Hayes was a guest of the UWr Rector, prof. Robert Olkiewicz on 14 March.
Among other things, the meeting commented on the recent meeting of representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of our countries, during which the need for an agreement on cultural and educational cooperation was emphasised. Such an agreement could facilitate contacts between Polish universities and Australian universities.
The Australian Embassy in Warsaw is the office representing the Australian government in Poland, the Czech Republic and Lithuania.
The meeting was attended by Urszula Broda, head of the International Office.
