Not all ticks are the same

In Poland, ticks search most intensively for a host in spring and autumn. The increase in interest in ticks (Ixodida) noted especially in recent decades is primarily related to the ability of these mites to transmit numerous pathogens. It is not without reason that ticks are considered one of the most important carriers of viruses, bacteria and parasites.
