European parliamentary elections 2024: Debate with politicians and conference

In the wake of the upcoming European parliamentary election, we cordially invite you to an academic conference and a political debate to be organized on May 7 and 8, 2024, at the Faculty of Social Sciences (ul. Koszarowa 3) and the European Parliament Office in Wrocław. On the first day, the pre-election debate will be held at the Faculty of Social Sciences with politicians from all parliamentary groups. We will reveal the names of the politicians in the appropriate order during the event promotion. The debate is organized and moderated by the students of the University of Wrocław. Additionally, on May 8, BPE headquarters in Wrocław (ul. Widok 10) will host expert panels.

Natalia Pudełko-Malik with a prestigious Kosciuszko Foundation Grant

Natalia Pudełko-Malik, a doctoral student at the Faculty of Biological Sciences, Department of Physiology and Molecular Neurobiology, University of Wrocław (supervisor: dr Dominika Drulis-Fajdasz) and the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, Faculty of Chemistry (supervisor: prof. dr hab. Piotr Młynarz) has been awarded a prestigious Kosciuszko Foundation Grant and will serve a five-month internship at the University of Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. The main objective of the research grant is to determine the metabolic interplay between neurons and astrocytes, using isotopically labelled metabolites such as [U-13C6]glucose and [U-13C3]lactate.

Kazuhiro Yoshiuchi. 27 marca wygłosiła wykład gościnny pt. Overview of Orthorexia Nervosa: what do we know and what do we do?

W University of Tokyo odbyła się również prapremiera monografii prof. dr hab. Anny Brytek-Matery nt. Orthorexia Nervosa: Current Understanding and Perspectives wydanej przez Cambridge University Press. Jest to pierwsza na świecie książka naukowa poświęcona problematyce ortoreksji psychicznej.
