Best history book
The monograph by Patrycja Grzebyk (University of Warsaw), Bartłomiej Krzan (Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of the University of Wrocław) and Karolina Wierczyńska (Polish Academy of Sciences), entitled “Polski dorobek w zakresie międzynarodowego prawa karnego w latach 1918-2018”, was awarded first prize in the Competition for the Best History Book organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The monograph won in the category “Najlepsza publikacja w języku polskim z zakresu historii polskiej dyplomacji”. In the book, the authors present and analyse the contribution of Polish scholars, judges, prosecutors, diplomats and public administration officials to the development of the principles of criminal responsibility for international crimes.
The award ceremony took place on 10 December at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
