Call for proposals for the START programme
The Foundation for Polish Science is opening the call for applications for the START programme, in which young scholars can win a scholarship for outstanding scientific achievements. Recruitment will be carried out by the Foundation until 31 October this year.
The START Scholarship of the Foundation for Polish Science is a prestigious award for the most talented young male and female researchers, granted in recognition of their scientific achievements. They may be applied for by researchers from all fields of science who, in the year of application under 30 years of age.
The competition for the scholarship is primarily judged on the quality and originality of the candidate’s and applicant’s previous scientific output and the most important research achievement.
In previous years, the annual individual scholarship amounted to PLN 28,000. The scholarship can be used for any purpose.
The START programme also awards awards to male and female candidates whose scientific achievements have been rated highest by the competition reviewers and have been recognised as outstanding.

The applicant, who is entered in the application, is Mr. dr hab. Artur Błażejewski, prof. UWr, Vice-Rector for research.
The application, printed and signed by the candidate and supervisor, should be forwarded to the Independent Professional Promotions and Awards Unit (contact bozena.tyton@uwr.edu.pl, tel: 605 67 00 23) by the deadline of by 26 October 2022.
