The University of Wrocław has gained access to the interdisciplinary international database Statista. The database can be used by staff and doctoral students as well as students.

The Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of Wrocław University of Life Sciences ‘Jedliniok’ is organising another recruitment of students to the ensemble.

In December, a festive meeting was held in the auditorium of the prof. J. Woronczak Chair of Jewish Studies on the occasion of bringing back from Berlin the collection of the most important researcher of the history of the Jewish community in Germany, prof. Monika Richarz. The transportation of the books was financed by the Consulate General of Germany. The event was also an opportunity to celebrate the establishment of a partnership with the Consulate. As Department Head dr Wojciech Tworek said (quoting Humphrey Bogart): This is the beginning of a beautiful friendship!

Registration for the Christmas event at the UWr Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology has begun.

The Association of Young Scientists invites students, doctoral students and young scientists to participate in the anniversary edition of the National Conference of the 11th Forum of Young Scientists “Nauki przyrodnicze i medyczne”.

We have a Young Researcher 2020-2025 scholarship for the top 100 candidates! As much as PLN 1 million to be distributed already in the first year of studies – within the framework of the ‘Initiative of Excellence – Research University’ (IDUB) programme!

Elections to the UWr Student Self-Government’s statutory bodies – the Student Parliament, the Faculty Student Self-Government Council and department heads – are approaching.
