    The Department of Human Biology at the University of Wrocław is honoured to invite you to an open lecture by Professor Stefano Benazzi, a distinguished palaeoanthropologist from the University of Bologna. He is visiting our institution as part of the IDUB Visiting Professor programme.

    The Academy of Young Scholars and Artists is recruiting new members. This year will mark 15 years since the establishment of this first-in-Poland platform for cooperation and intellectual exchange dedicated to outstanding young science students.

    The Institute of Theoretical Physics of the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy invites you to an open lecture by prof. Jan Soubusta, ‘Exploiting symmetry in describing physics phenomena.’ The lecture will take place on May 21st (Wednesday) from 12:30 to 14:00 in 422 hall in pl. Maksa Borna 9.
    The lecture is organised as a matter of the IDUB programme – visiting professors’ arrivals.

    The exhibition „Wrocław na szlaku dziedzictwa akademickiego” (eng. “Wrocław on the trail of academic heritage” was officially opened at ul. Kuźnicza on 13 May at 1 p.m.

    Dr inż. Piotr Kryczka from the Department of Social and Economic Geography of the University of Wrocław has found himself among the hundred most talented Polish scientists before turning thirty. He has received the Foundation for Polish Science scholarship in the START 2025 contest.

    On May 17th, we invite you to visit some of the University of Wrocław facilities, which open their doors to host the Long Night of Museums. The academicians of Wrocław, under the auspices of the Academic Museums Association, have also prepared an exterior exhibition, Wrocław na szlaku dziedzictwa akademickiego (eng. ‘Wrocław on the Trail of Academic Heritage’), which will open on May 13th at 13:00. However, it will be visible the day before at ul. Kuźnicza. Certainly, this exhibition might be an inspiration for those who are interested in spending the Night of the Museums in the academic institutions of Wrocław.
