Anna Ślusarczyk, a doctoral student at the University of Wrocław, has been named the winner of the third edition of the competition for the best research master’s thesis carried out in the 2023/2024 academic year at a university headquartered in Wrocław. The competition, organised by the Wrocław Branch of the Polish Chemical Society, aims to recognise outstanding research work by young scientists.

The subject “Personality and linguistic and cultural mediation” (3 ECTS; ref. 2023-1-ES01-KA131-HED-000118257-1), organized as part of the Erasmus+ short-term mobility, the so-called Blended Intensive Program/BIP, was very successful. The coordinator of the project from Spain, the University of Murcia (Universidad de Murcia/UMU) – Faculty of Letters (Facultad de Letras) – invited the University of Wrocław to cooperate (the largest group, with 42 students), Adam Mickiewicz University of Poznan (UAM; 7 students), Università degli Studi di Firenze (UNIFI; 5 students), and Università degli Studi di Milano (UNIMI; 4 students).

University of Wroclaw and Academy of Land Forces named after General Tadeusz Kosciuszko have stepped up cooperation. The agreement in this regard was signed on 6 December 2024. On 11 December 2024, at 9:00 a.m., the 19th Polish-Belarusian Scientific and Practical Roundtable will be held at the Institute of International and Security Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Wrocław entitled “Edukacja i nauka Białorusi przed wyzwaniem transformacji demokratycznej.
