Our researcher, dr Ewa Górska from the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics, is a finalist of the 21st edition of the competition “Popularyzator Nauki” (Science Popularizer). Results will be announced in November.

With deep sorrow and regret, we announce the passing of prof. dr hab. Bernard Janusz Albin, former Dean and co-founder of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Emeritus Professor of the University of Wrocław.

“Hartman’s Letter” became the stuff of legend due to both the circumstances surrounding it and its timeless message, although for many years it was known only within the community of mathematicians. The Institute of Polish Studies and the Institute of Musicology at the University of Wrocław invite you to an interdisciplinary optional course entitled ‘Jak rozpracować XIX-wieczny sztambuch’, which will be led by Dr Agnieszka Kuniczuk (Institute of Polish Studies) and Dr Grzegorz Joachimiak (Institute of Musicology).

The Academic Legion is a form of voluntary military training directed especially to the academic youth. It is a project carried out by the Ministry of Defence in partnership with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The University of Wrocław has been participating in the programme for many years, organizing the trainings for students of all universities in Wrocław.
