Staff of the Faculty of Languages, Literatures and Cultures of the University of Wrocław, invite students, teachers, and all those interested in youth rights to the panel “Together in Rights” – an intergenerational dialogue on freedom and participation, featuring both young people and adults.

The Faculty of Languages, Literatures and Cultures invites to an open lecture by Belgian scholar Professor Pieter Vermeulen (KU Leuven), entitled The Anthropocene: A Literary Career. The lecture will take place on 20 October 2025 at 12:00 at the T. Taube Chair of Jewish Studies, ul. św. Jadwigi 3/4, Wrocław, in the J. Woronczak Hall.

On Wednesday, 1 October, the community of the University of Wrocław officially inaugurated the 2025/2026 academic year in the Aula Leopoldina.

– With the planting of the first of eighty trees, we are beginning a series of initiatives that not only symbolise our history and tradition, but also our responsibility towards the future – said the Rector of the University of Wrocław, prof. Robert Olkiewicz, as he planted the first tree, thus launching the cycle of planting eighty trees to mark today’s anniversary of the University’s 80th year, celebrated on 1 October.
