    Once you have selected your courses in the IRKa online Candidate Registration System (www.irka.uni.wroc.pl), remember to set priorities for the recruitment fee. This is important when, for example, you sign up for 3 courses and pay the recruitment fee for 2. We need to know which two courses to assign the fee to.

    Four weeks after the start of university registration on the Online Candidate Registration System, we announce further statistics on the IRK. As of 28 June 2024, we have 13 547 applications and 7764 candidates!

    The journal Cellular & Molecular Biology Letters, whose editorial office is located at the Faculty of Biotechnology, University of Wrocław, has once again achieved an increase in its Impact Factor of 9.2 (five-year IF: 8.1), remaining among the leading journals published worldwide in fields related to biochemistry and molecular cell biology and achieving the highest result among all journals published in Poland.

    Minister of Science Dariusz Wieczorek met with representatives of the Independent Students Union on June 25 in Warsaw. The meeting was also an opportunity to honor this year’s Student Nobel laureates.

    The University of Wrocław was ranked fifth in the ranking published on June 26 by the Perspektywy Educational Foundation University Ranking 2024. The leader of the ranking is Warsaw University, followed by Jagiellonian University in second place, then Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and the University of Gdańsk.
