    An international research team led by dr Łukasz Stachnik from the Institute of Geography and Regional Development at the University of Wrocław argues that valley glaciers may make an important contribution to the supply of nutrients to Arctic ecosystems.     From 24 to 29 August 2025, the University of Wrocław will host a prestigious international event, a combined conference of EUCMOS (European Congress on Molecular Spectroscopy) and EMPOC (European Meeting on Physical Organic Chemistry).

    On 21 August 2025, the University of Wrocław signed an agreement with P.B. Alfa Dach Sp. z o.o. for the construction of the Polish–Ukrainian Cooperation Centre, a facility that will include teaching areas and a library for the Faculty of Historical and Pedagogical Sciences (specifically, the Institute of Musicology). The building will be located at ul. Kuźnicza 29b.
