Prof dr hab. Anna Brytek-Matera, who heads the Department of Food Psychology at the UWr Institute of Psychology and the Eating Behaviour Research Laboratory – EAT, together with her colleagues, invites you to participate in research on eating behaviour.

The UWr team composed of: Krzysztof Boryczka, Antoni Buraczewski, Łukasz Pluta, ranked 5th and won the bronze medal in the first ever European Team Programming Championships!

The first Vilnius Summer School was dedicated to the teaching staff of all Arqus European Universities Alliance partner universities. The University of Wroclaw was represented by female scientists: prof. Barbara Łydżba-Kopczyńska from the Faculty of Chemistry, dr hab. inż. Magdalena Zagalska-Neubauer from the Faculty of Biological Sciences, dr Elwira Wachowicz from the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy, prof. Alina Bieńko from the Faculty of Chemistry, prof. Renata Duda from the Faculty of Social Sciences. They told us what new things they had learnt about didactics during workshops and lectures, invited us to meet them, during which they would pass on the knowledge they had gained to other academic teachers at our university, and invited us to participate in the next Summer School in Vilnius.

The Minister of Science has awarded scholarships for students for the academic year 2023/2024! On 22 March 2024, out of 1,048 applications meeting the conditions for receiving a scholarship – the Minister of Science, Dariusz Wieczorek – awarded scholarships to 386 students, and among them were students from the University of Wrocław!

On Monday 25 March, dr Urszula Bończuk-Dawidziuk from the Museum of the University of Wrocław and mgr Joanna Białek from the Henryk Teisseyre Geological Museum talked about university museums on the air of Academic Radio LUZ. Among other things, they talked to editor Jacek Stefaniak about the network of university museums and their impressive scientific collections, which many Wrocław residents have not yet seen.
