Very good news has come to us from the session of the UNESCO Executive Committee, which on 27 March 2024 announced the granting of UNESCO World Geopark status to eighteen new geoparks from various parts of the world, including the Land of Extinct Volcanoes, just a few dozen kilometres west of Wrocław.

They told us what new things they had learnt about didactics during workshops and lectures, invited us to meet them, during which they would pass on the knowledge they had gained to other academic teachers at our university, and invited us to participate in the next Summer School in Vilnius.
The Minister of Science has awarded scholarships for students for the academic year 2023/2024! On 22 March 2024, out of 1,048 applications meeting the conditions for receiving a scholarship – the Minister of Science, Dariusz Wieczorek – awarded scholarships to 386 students, and among them were students from the University of Wrocław!
