    Young Researcher, or scholarships for the best!

    Last year’s edition of the Lower Silesian Science Festival was awarded in the Popularyzacja nauki (Popularisation of Science) category of the PRom Association competition. The annual awards were presented on 3 June in Katowice.

    Lower Silesian Science Festival awarded!

    The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange announced the results of the fourth edition of Prof. Franciszek Walczak programme. One of the 40 laureates is prof. dr hab. in medical and health sciences Anna Brytek-Matera from the Institute of Psychology, University of Wrocław.

    Dr hab. Kamil Glinka, from the Department of Political and Administrative Systems at the Institute of Political Science, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Wrocław, was elected to be a member of Steering Committee of Standing Group on Central and East European Politics, that is a part of European Consortium for Political Research – ECPR.

    27 researchers from the UWr will receive a total of more than PLN 40 million to conduct their projects as part of the OPUS 26 and SONATA 19 competitions from the National Science Centre. They include four scientists from the Faculty of Historical and Pedagogical Sciences.
