Projekt dr Justyny Zeler z Wydziału Chemii UWr uzyskał pod koniec 2023 roku finansowanie 2 459 520 zł. z NCN w ramach konkursu OPUS 25. Temat badań brzmi: Poświata i termometria luminescencyjna nanoluminoforów i ich potencjał biomedyczny.
W wyniku wyodrębnienia się ze struktur obecnego Wydziału Filologicznego dwóch nowych Wydziałów: Wydziału Neofilologii i Wydziału Komunikacji Społecznej i Mediów powstaną trzy jednostki.
