On 10 and 11 January 2025, students of two part-time fields of study – International Relations and Social Projects Management – from the Faculty of Social Science of the University of Wrocław participated in a study trip in Warsaw. Students were accompanied by two supervisors: dr Aleksandra Moroska-Bonkiewicz of the Institute of Political Science and doctoral student Mateusz Repczyński. The trip was a unique opportunity to gain practical knowledge, learn about the functioning of key public institutions and integrate into academic environment. The trip was split into two main stages.

Have you ever wondered why while searching for a potential romantic partner you are attracted only to some candidates? Prof. dr. S. Craig Roberts will answer this question. In turn, dr hab. Izabela Lebuda will delve into the topic of creativity that is essential in everyday life, work, and when facing global challenges.

On Thursday, 27 February 2025, prof. Robert Olkiewicz, rector of the University of Wrocław, received a delegation from the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence, led by prof. Erik Jones, director of the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Research within the EUI. The meeting was also attended by Joanna Wielgo, manager of EUI-funded projects, and, on the UWr side, dr Łukasz Prus, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs; prof Magdalena Ratajczak, dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences; prof. Piotr Sula, vice-dean for internationalisation of the Faculty of Social Sciences; Urszula Broda, head of the International Office; and Tomasz Woźniakowski, assistant professor at the Institute of Political Science, local coordinator of the event.

On 12 May 2025, the 22nd edition of the not only Slavic Song Contest will take place in the Oratorium Marianum, organised by the Institute of Slavic Studies – students and doctoral students, SKNR WroSlawianie, the Culture and Art Centre in Wrocław, International Office of the University of Wrocław, and the Centre for Student and Doctoral Activities of the University of Wrocław.
