    Polonika of the 16th-18th centuries from the collection of the University Library in Wrocław – processing, digitisation and making it public on the web – Ministerial project implemented under the program Social Responsibility of Science – support for scientific libraries.

    In the 2023/24 academic year, grants were given by the Ministry of Education and Science as a part of the Social Responsibility of Science Programme (agreement no. BIBL/SP/0012/2023/01). Thanks to this, the staff of the University Library in Wrocław could conduct documentation work on the musical collection from the historical library of the Ursulines of the Roman Union in Wrocław. The collection was received as a gift and it comprised over 1500 items.

    Musical collections from the former school library of the Congregation of the Saint Ursula in Wrocław are now accessible.

    On 27 November 2024, during the meeting of the Senate of the University of Wrocław, 8 members of the Council of the University of Wrocław were elected for the term of 2025-2028.

    Information days about the Erasmus+ programme were held at the University of Wrocław between 18-21.11.2024. This is a regular event, which is very popular among UWr students and doctoral students. More than 500 people showed up at the meetings, where staff from the International Office presented the offer of the Erasmus+ programme, the EU’s largest and most popular mobility program.

    Two University of Wrocław scientists received this year’s Prime Minister’s Award. In the category for outstanding dissertation, the winners were dr Rafał Mudafrom the Institute of Psychology and dr Piotr Antoni Kołaczek-Szymański from the Astronomical Institute.

    The mentoring program has been implemented by the Academic Career Office of the University of Wrocław for thirteen years. Recruitment for the 14th edition is currently underway. Until December 6, students can read bios of mentors and mentees and apply. This year, there are 63 specialists from various industries waiting for them.
