The University of Wrocław community has been preparing solidly for the arrival of the flood wave in recent days. Although we are full of optimism and hope that major damage will be avoided, we have taken the precaution of securing university buildings and property so that the impact of the wave will be as small as possible.

Due to the threat of flooding, the University of Wrocław is launching a special email address: powodz@uwr.edu.pl, to which you can send any information about the need for assistance related to securing the university’s property and announcements related to the flood situation. The information will be published on the university’s website and social media.

It is with great joy that we announce that the Gaudium Choir of the University of Wrocław, under the direction of prof. Alan Urbanek, achieved a significant success at the 13th International Canto Mediterrania Choir Competition in Lloret de Mar, which took place from 10-15 September 2024. After months of intensive preparation and rehearsals, their efforts resulted in winning the Gold Diploma in the Sacred Music category.
