On 20 June 2025 at 18:00, a unique online meeting will take place with Nobel Prize in Literature laureate, Svetlana Alexievich. This is a rare opportunity to hear the voice of one of the most outstanding contemporary Belarusian writers – an author who has given voice to an entire generation and created powerful documentary epics about the human soul during times of war, disaster, the collapse of systems, and profound social change. Her books, dedicated to topics such as Chernobyl, the war in Afghanistan, the fall of the USSR, and the trauma of Soviet and post-Soviet existence, centre above all on the human being – their emotions, fears, hopes, and memory.
