UL: Cooperation

On Tuesday, 7 October, at 1 p.m., in the Senate Hall of the University of Wrocław (Main Building), pl. Uniwersytecki 1, representatives of the Lower Silesian Region authorities and the Rector of the University of Wrocław, prof. Robert Olkiewicz, will sign a framework agreement on cooperation.

In 2025, two equal awards in the category of theoretical aspects of computer science were given to dr Piotr Ostropolski-Nalewaja from the University of Wrocław and Marek Sokołowski from the University of Warsaw, and in the category of applied computer science to Marcin Sendera from the Jagiellonian University.

Another year at the University of Wrocław, as part of the ARQUS European University Alliance, has begun. Thanks to these projects, initiatives constantly come to life, crossing not only national borders, but also redefining academic life. On Wednesday, 1 October, the community of the University of Wrocław officially inaugurated the 2025/2026 academic year in the Aula Leopoldina.

A scientific conference organised under the auspices of the European Molecular Biology Organisation (EMBO) entitled ‘DNA Topology and Topoisomerases in Genome Dynamics’ has concluded in Szklarska Poręba.
