    On Friday, February 7, 2025 at 1.00 p.m. in the Senate Hall of the University of Wrocław, a preliminary agreement was signed on the co-organization of the Wrocław Juwenalia 2025.

    The management of the Institute of Geography and Regional Development and the Prof. Tadeusz Dorobisz Regional Centre for Blood Donation and Haemotherapy in Wrocław invite you to an action of honour blood donation, which will take place on 24 February 2025 between 9:00 and 13:00 in the Library of the Institute of Geography and Regional Development of the University of Wrocław (pl. Uniwersytecki 1, room 228).

    The Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Wrocław will be implementing the WEAVE UNISONO research grant in a trilateral cooperation between the German Research Foundation agency, the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) and the Polish National Science Centre agency.

    Seven Wrocław research centres, including our University represented by Rector prof. Robert Olkiewicz, signed an agreement to consolidate activities in order to jointly build strong research and development facilities and strengthen the city’s position as a significant scientific centre. This is the first step towards a Wrocław centre of excellence.

    Prof. Anna Pacześniak of the Institute of European Studies at the University of Wrocław has been nominated – as one of six people in the whole of the European Union – to the Committee of Independent Eminent Persons. This was announced on behalf of the Conference of Presidents by the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola.
