The UWr Institute of Political Science and the Robert Schuman Center at the European University Institute invite you to lectures on grant application writing and publishing in foreign scientific journals.

Work on the European diploma is underway in the European Union. The staff of the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy invite secondary school students to an academic physics workshop!

Three of our researchers dr Magdalena Gibiec, dr Michal Halicki and dr hab. Anna Śledzińska-Simon, prof. UWr, have become NAWA BEKKER programme scholarship recipients.  The programme supports the international mobility of doctoral students, researchers and academics.

The oldest, the biggest and the most important – that’s what “Archaeological Sensations 2024” is! And among them are papyri discovered in Egypt by our archaeologists as the “Największy skarb 2024” (eng. “Greatest Treasure of 2024”).

In December 2024, the University of Wrocław entered into a research and teaching cooperation agreement with the Civil Aviation Authority.
The aim of the agreement is to carry out joint research and teaching projects – including conducting research activities in the area of broadly defined safety and civil protection.

Seven Polish-Czech and two trilateral projects involving teams from the Czech Republic, Germany and Slovenia have been selected for funding in the Weave-UNISONO 2024 competition. Among them is a project by dr hab. Małgorzata Zakrzewska, prof. UWr at the Faculty of Biotechnology.

The UWr Institute of Geological Sciences invites to a lecture by prof. Marek Awdankiewicz, who will talk about volcanism in the Solar System. The lecture will be held on January 24 at 3:00 pm at the Institute of Geological Sciences, pl. Maksa Borna 9, room 220.
