UL: University in the world
The University of Wrocław ranked 900th globally and 4th among Polish universities in the 2024 Center for World University Rankings (CWUR). We were the only Polish institution ranked in the faculty category, placing 263rd worldwide.
Dr Michał Bernaczyk, prof. UWr, as a legal advisor, represented the NGO Watchdog Polska in the first historic trial before the Strasbourg Court concerning violation of the right to information.
We wtorek, 12 marca 2024 r., odbyło się robocze spotkanie przedstawicieli Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego i Southern Illinois University (USA) w sprawie rozwoju współpracy badawczej i dydaktycznej w oparciu o podpisaną umowę bilateralną. In the Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2023 (GRAS), published on October 27, the University of Wrocław ranked high among the 201-300 best universities in the world in the field of mathematics.
In the newest edition of the Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject 2024, which compares universities from all over the world by the disciplines, more subjects from the University of Wrocław could be found compared to last year- eight in total were included. In the previous year UWr got six subjects.
