UL: University in the world

We wtorek, 12 marca 2024 r., odbyło się robocze spotkanie przedstawicieli Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego i Southern Illinois University (USA) w sprawie rozwoju współpracy badawczej i dydaktycznej w oparciu o podpisaną umowę bilateralną. Kooperacja została zainicjowana przed dwoma laty dzięki wsparciu Dolnośląskiego Urzędu Marszałkowskiego.

Is Arqus also a place for students? Certainly yes! On 7 and 8 March, we are hosting members of the Student Agora package within the Arqus Alliance at the University of Wrocław. Colleagues from Arqus universities are visiting us to see how student life goes at our university.

W czwartek 29 lutego 2024 roku zebrał się w Uniwersytecie Wrocławskim, w sali senatu, Komitet Naukowo-Programowy Kongresów Czechoznawstwa Polskiego i Polonoznawstwa Czeskiego wraz z zarządem PCzTN.

Rektor UWr prof. Robert Olkiewicz podpisał 30 stycznia umowę partnerską o współpracy z Katolickim Uniwersytetem Eichstaett w Bawarii, która ułatwi wymianę studentów oraz realizację wspólnych projektów przez obie Uczelnie.

Uniwersytet Wrocławski znalazł się na 701-710 miejscu na świecie oraz na 493 w Europie w rankingu QS Sustainability Ranking 2024.

In the newest edition of the Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject 2024, which compares universities from all over the world by the disciplines, more subjects from the University of Wrocław could be found compared to last year- eight in total were included. In the previous year UWr got six subjects.

Uniwersytet Stanforda oraz wydawnictwo Elsevier opublikowali kolejną edycję  rankingu najczęściej cytowanych, a tym samym mających największy wpływ na rozwój nauki, badaczy na świecie (tzw. listę TOP 2%).
