Charity concert “We play for Sebastian!”
On 20 March 2024 at 6.00 p.m., a Charity Concert “We play for Sebastian” organised by the Faculty of Letters of the University of Wrocław will take place at the Oratorium Marianum.
The concert is held under the patronage of His Magnificence Rector prof. Robert Olkiewicz, Dean of the Faculty of Letters prof. Arkadiusz Lewicki and the Association “Gramy o Życie”. The academic community will play and sing for Sebastian Lewicki, son of Dorota Kanuś, a long-standing employee of the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Letters.
During the concert, funds will be raised by the “Gramy o Życie” Association, whose ward is Sebastian. The funds raised will be used for treatment, including surgery and rehabilitation to help Sebastian recover from his serious accident.
The concert will be attended by students and lecturers from the Faculty of Letters, as well as prof. Jan Miodek, senior rector prof. Adam Jezierski and the multi-instrumentalist, acoustician and long-standing juror of Slavic Song Contests, Andrzej Walus.
The concert will be hosted by Beata Wawer and Iwona Rusowicz.
