Competition to support cooperation with the socio-economic environment of the University of Wrocław. Projects selected for funding

We would like to inform you that the Committee of the UWr Competition for Support for Cooperation with the Social and Economic Environment announced by the Rector ( Ordinance No. 51/2024), consisting of:

– Chairman of the Commission, dr hab. Lucjan Jerzykiewicz, prof. UWr, Chairman of the IDUB Team for strategic relations with social environment entities,
– prof. dr hab. Stefan Kiedroń, Vice-Rector for finance and development,
– prof. dr hab. Artur Błażejewski, Vice-Rector for research,
– dr hab. Łukasz Machaj, prof. UWr, Vice-Rector for teaching,
– dr hab. Maciej Cesarz, Vice-Rector for student affairs,
– mgr Maciej Kamiński, Director of the Technology Transfer Centre,
– mgr Dominika Buczkowska, Head of the Academic Career Office

selected the following projects for funding:

  1. Study of the physiological state of vines at Vineyard 55-100 in the Trzebnica Hills during the 2024 growing season
  2. Biofilm formation in process installations as an important quality parameter for cosmetics
  3. Students in the Rhythm of Business
  4. Diagnosis of Wrocław NGOs
  5. Development of an innovative pathway for the synthesis of liraglutide, a novel peptide drug for diabetes therapy
  6. Development of a novel method for the determination of dextran in sugar juices using oscillatory spectroscopy techniques
  7. Partnership with DAWG for the development of social and business competences of students and doctoral candidates at the University of Wrocław
  8. Pilot collaboration system – synergy between academic and business
  9. Supporting research into the application of artificial intelligence (AI) methods in assessing the authenticity of easel paintings
  10. Opole sources. Explanation of the causes of the disappearance of large karst springs and groundwater pollution in the southern Opole region.
