Course “Ja – My – Sprawa”

The University of Wrocław invites students from Belarus to participate in the School of Civic Education as part of the “Free Belarusian University” project.

The University of Wrocław is launching recruitment for the School of Civic Education, implemented under the “Free Belarusian University” initiative. The programme is aimed at Belarusian students who wish to develop their leadership competencies, acquire practical social skills, and engage in activities for the benefit of the civic community.

The course “Ja – My – Sprawa” (eng. “I – We – The Cause”) is designed for those who want to act consciously and effectively – from an idea to the implementation of a social project.

The course will be held online from 19 November to 17 December 2025 (Mondays and Wednesdays).

Participants will gain:

  • skills in effective leadership and change management;
  • practical tools for creating social initiatives and teamwork;
  • experience in presenting ideas and securing international support;
  • the opportunity to join an active community of people with similar values and goals;
  • a certificate of completion issued by the Free Belarusian University and the University of Wrocław;
  • gifts for the most engaged participants.

The thematic scope of the course includes, among others:

  • the functioning of civil society;
  • the role of the individual in democratic processes;
  • leadership and change management;
  • from problem to action plan;
  • advocacy and international partnerships;
  • building and motivating teams;
  • values in social activity;
  • effective presentation of ideas.

Classes will be conducted by experts with extensive practical experience as well as professors from the University of Wrocław.
