CZECH It Out! – meeting with Teresa Drozd
The Institute of Slavic Studies at the University of Wrocław invites you to another meeting in the CZECH It Out! online series, which will take place on 1 September at 5:30 p.m. via MS Teams.
CZECH It Out! is a series of online meetings hosted by the Postgraduate Studies Czech Language in Administration, Tourism and Business, the Scientific Association of Bohemians at UWr, dr Ilona Gwóźdź-Szewczenko and dr Mateusz Wiśniewski from the Institute of Slavic Studies.
The guest of the meeting will be Teresa Drozd –a radio journalist who worked for Polish Radio from 1992 to 2021, where she hosted her own programmes devoted to theatre, literature, the history of Polish entertainment and literary songs; she is also an enthusiast and expert on Czech culture and the work of Jeremi Przybora. In 2018 and 2021, albums with her songs were released in the Czech Republic, and one of them was awarded an Anděl, the most important Czech music award.
