Do you have an idea? See if it will become a business!

Do you have an idea for your own business but don’t know how to turn it into reality? Need support in building your start-up? University Dragons’ Den is an extra-curricular subject, organised by the UWr Academic Career Office, which will help you develop your entrepreneurial competences and test yourself in practical action.

What is University Dragons’ Den?

University Dragons’ Den is an extra-curricular subject, which consists of a series of workshops led by Michał Karbowiak, Business Development Manager of Concordia Design Wrocław, specialising in working with startups and developing the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The programme will take you through the entire process of creating a business – from the idea to its presentation in front of experts.

What will you gain by taking part in the programme?

  • You will learn how to build a business model based on the Lean Canvas methodology.
  • You will learn the principles of creating and developing innovative ideas.
  • You will work in an interdisciplinary team.
  • You will establish contacts with business practitioners.
  • You will understand the mechanisms that govern the market and the mindset of potential customers.
  • You will verify whether building your own business is the path you want to take.

For whom?

The programme is aimed at male and female students and PhD students of the University of Wrocław who want to gain practical knowledge about creating a start-up, want to verify their idea which may turn into a business.

How to enrol?

Registration takes place in the USOS system from 03.02 to 03.03.2025. The number of places is limited – it is worth signing up as soon as possible! For more information, visit the Academic Career Office website
