Defence of the doctoral dissertation of mgr Lech Zdunkiewicz
The Council of the Academic Discipline of Literary Studies at the University of Wrocław announces that a public discussion of mgr Lech Zdunkiewicz‘s doctoral dissertation entitled Empathy and Sympathy Elicitation Strategies in Highsmith′s and Minghella′s The Talented Mr. Ripley will be held on 23 September 2022 at 16:30.

The defence will be conducted remotely in the form of a video conference with real-time video and audio streaming, using the Microsoft Teams application providing public access to the event and allowing participants to communicate directly. The meeting can be joined from a web browser (depending on the operating system used, a Chrome/Edge browser may be required) or the Microsoft Teams application (free version available). Please send your willingness to participate in the defence by 22 September 2022 to dr hab. Zofia Kolbuszewska, Prof UWr (zofia.kolbuszewska@uwr.edu.pl), the Chair of the Committee for the proceedings for the award of the doctoral degree to mgr Lech Zdunkiewicz. Online access to the meeting will be possible from 16:15. The course of the remote defence will be moderated and recorded.
